Smartphone Manufacturing business has not brought the Taiwanese company Acer desired profit, but it does not lose hope to make it stable and profitable. This was announced by CEO Jason Che.
Chapter Acer, during his speech at the conference with suppliers, said that the company plans to launch smartphones based on Windows. They will be presented this spring at the exhibition Mobile World Congress (MWC 2 015), which will be held in Barcelona from 2 to 5 March. Chen also said that Acer continue to focus on the entry-level segment and has no plans in the near future to produce high-end smartphones.
Jason Chan also spoke optimistically about the business of manufacturing Chromebooks, whose share in total notebook shipments are now increased to 30% versus 10% in 2013.
