The Canadian company BlackBerry today has unveiled its new smartphone , designed primarily for young professionals and users from developing countries.
According to GSMarena, the device was called BlackBerry Leap. It is a mid-range smartphone with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (294ppi) and is already quite outdated dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor with a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. Internal memory of 16 GB can be expanded with a memory card MicroSD (maximum for another 128GB). On the back of the smartphone there is 8-megapixel main camera, equipped with autofocus, 5x digital zoom and LED flash. It is able to record video in 1080p at up to 30 frames per second. Battery life provides a non-removable battery 2800 mAh. BlackBerry Leap will be delivered with the operating system BlackBerry 10.3.5 on board.
Smartphone BlackBerry Leap clothed in a plastic case with a textured surface. Its dimensions are 244 x 72.8 x 9.5 mm with a weight of 170 grams.
BlackBerry Leap go on sale in April 2015 at a price of $ 275.
Also, according to Engadget, at MWC 2015 public demonstration prototype BlackBerry smartphone, which is still under development and will be available later this year. It is made in the slider form factor and has a large curved on both sides touchscreen and a physical QWERTY-keyboard
