The world's largest contract chip maker, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), has difficulty in meeting demand for 28-nm products from companies Qualcomm, NVIDIA and AMD. Qualcomm gave orders for processors with ARM architecture to the company United Microelectronics (UMC).  AMD, officially released the first graphics accelerator based on the GPU, manufactured on 28 nm technology, at the end of 2011, are still forced to limit shipments .  Similarly, the state of NVIDIA affairs, whose product range is represented by three 28 nm GPU (GK104, GK107 and GF108 ). TSMC, in turn, is actively expanding production and next week will begin construction of a new factory in the Southern Taiwan Science Park.  In 2012, production volume is expected to increase by 10%.
