Toshiba has introduced a new affordable 14-inch ultrabook model Satellite U940. The device is based on the Ivy Bridge platform with a 1.7-GHz (up to 2.6 GHz turbo mode) processor model Intel Core i5 3317U, has a slim body (thickness 20 mm) made of opaque plastic with texture, light weight (about 1 , 79 kg) and running the operating system Windows 8. U940 has up to 6 GB of DDR3-1600 memory , , integrated graphics engine Intel HD Graphics 4000, optional 2 GB of available discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M (switching between integrated and discrete adapters automatically). Also there is HDD up to 1TB and SSD-drive capacity of 32 GB, a slot for memory cards format SD, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0 adapter, megapixel webcam, stereo speakers, and HDMI output. The battery will last for more than 4 hours. | ||
