During May , intel company will present the new mobile platform montevina, which was called Centrino 2. Although mobile processors utilized in this platform will be based on 45 nm technology, they will obtain a higher system bus  frequency up to 1066 MHz, and also higher frequency range. High-end dual core model core 2 Extreme x9100 will operate at 3.06 GHz frequency , and in this case it is satisfied by TDP level not more than 44 W. Processor with analogous  characteristics was recently noted in  iMac from apple productions  , which use mobile intel processors  . Apple do not uses present Core 2 Extreme x9100 (3.06 GHz), but certain special 45 nm processor, which works at 1066 MHz system bus frequency   . Actually, this is the overclocked Penryn processor. 	With the lack of bios-fsb-overclocking available on MOST laptops, many will welcome this new top speed. I, however, shall sit quietly and await the Mobile Quad Core from Intel in Q3. With 12MB of L2 cache, this is going to make any compatible laptop soooo responsive.... Probably won\'t enjoy the price though.... Erik (the computer handyman).
