The announcement of the first Intel processor with four core will be in the beginning of November, if we believe the last information. Working stations with two processor obtained possibility to install two four core processors Xeon DP on core Clovertown. How effectively load would load this monster? For sure many has already given this question. On the pages of forum XtremeSystems.org was opened a test, dedicated to the procedure of testing system on the base of two cfour core processors Clovertown. Test was done in the system with some applications to show the performance level of such system .
 It would like to note that processors Clovertown from this system were based on stepping B1, which recently mastered Kentsfield processors . Processors Clovertown work at the frequency of 2.66 GHz and have 2 X 4 mb cache , they support 1066 MHz system bus. hey are deprived from the free multiplier. From other side, server motherboards allow overclocking, so that free multiplier is not necessary to these processors. We hope that the computer community can compose a collection of tests for Clovertown in such way many questions about the effectiveness of the polynuclear solutions in the specific spheres of activity will be taken.
