Mozilla company refused to plans to release Firefox OS smartphones for $ 25. This was announced by CEO Chris Byrd . According to GSMArena, employees Mozilla got an email from CEO Chris Byrd, in which he stated the following: We have not seen enough interest in the smartphone for $ 25. Instead, we're going to focus on improving the user experience and not on the cost of the devices"  However, this does not mean that Mozilla will focus only on high-end devices. The company is counting on the emergence of Firefox-devices in various price segments.
